Management Team Nick Tsaousidis Managing Director
Before joining Adventus, Nick Tsaousidis was a co-founder and Executive Director of Essential Appointments. As the Director – Operations & Finance at Essential Appointments, Nick’s responsibilities included all aspects of financial management of the business, including cash flow management, investments, financial planning and taxation management. Furthermore, his responsibilities as head of operations required stringent management of all aspects of the business to ensure sound and reliable systems and processes were in place. Prior to Essential Appointments Nick was employed by Westpac Banking Corporation as Portfolio Analyst within the investment management division, and was involved in the launch and operation of a new international bond product.
Nick has a Bachelor degree in business with majors in economics and finance and a postgraduate diploma in applied finance and investment.
Luke Battah Non-Executive Director
Prior to founding Adventus, Luke Battah was most recently employed by First Advantage Corporation. This occurring as a result of First Advantage Corporation acquiring Refsure Worldwide Pty Ltd in July 2006; a company founded by Luke in October 2002. Luke successfully built Refsure Worldwide into the undisputed market leader in Background Screening across Australasia employing over 100 staff with multi-million dollar revenues. Since Refsure’s inception, Luke was responsible for the overall growth, direction and strategy of Refsure. Luke was instrumental in the establishment of Refsure’s international network and numerous strategic alliances. In addition, Luke played a pivotal role in securing a large number of Refsure’s largest clients including Global, Regional and Domestic contracts. Luke also led the negotiation of Refsure’s acquisition of Australian Background and subsequent sale to First Advantage.
Prior to establishing Refsure, Luke was employed by Monster.com – Asia Pacific in Business Development. Luke has also worked with some of Australia’s leading Recruitment firms as a consultant.
